Regal Petroleum stated in an operations update published on July 11 that it has filed new proceedings in Kyiv’s District Administrative Court against the Environment Ministry and the State Geological Service to rescind the government order that had forced the company to halt its operations last year. The Court handed down a ruling on Thursday (Jul 7) to grant a suspension of the order. This ruling allows Regal to restart production at its MEX-GOL and SV fields in Ukraine, which have been shuttered since November 2010.
